Althea Mitchell is the founding lawyer of Adlai Law. She has over 20 years of experience in the legal field. Her practice extends to all areas of personal injury, business and family immigration and criminal law.
Althea graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Sociology. Prior to completing her degree, she was a legal assistant on Bay Street. Her love for travel, the Arts and seeing the world, led her to England where she completed her Bachelor of Laws degree at Coventry University.
During her time in the UK, she volunteered with the Citizens Advice Bureau, assisting individuals with their legal matters. She later attended University of Southern California, Gould Law School where she completed her Masters in Law degree.
Althea also attended the Ryerson Law Practice Program and articled at a prestigious Personal Injury law firm in Toronto prior to being called to the Ontario Bar. She has been featured in publications such as Forbes, Medium and Guardian News.

Nirvikar Grewal is an Associate at Adlai Law. Ms. Grewal takes a client-based approach to all her files and excels in protecting her clients’ best interest.
Ms. Grewal is a lawyer with a passion for assisting individuals in family and real estate law matters. With nine years of experience practicing law in India and over three years in Canada, She brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her practice. Ms. Grewal is also fluent in Punjabi and Hindi. As part of her role, she facilitates client communication, and is responsible for the effective operation of the firm. When Yanique is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family.
